A $50K launch for new online webinar series

Mandy, founder of Funding for Good, has been helping nonprofits get sustainable funding and development for over 20 years.

I’d been writing emails and landing pages for Mandy since early 2019, so when she came to me with a brilliant new idea I was 100% in.

For years she had been doing paid webinars, but webinars that weren’t just 10 minutes of kinda helpful stuff and then 40 minutes of sales. 

There were webinars delivered how they should be: jam-packed full of actionable goods.

It was time to package all the good info up into a monthly series for 2020. 

After a strategy session, we decided to call them micro-courses to convey that they were focused on learning, not selling.

The main goal was to sell at least 50 people the 12 Micro-Package (register for all 12 for 20% off.)

  • Launch: November 2019

  • Deliverables: Landing Page, Multiple email sequences to different segments, One-off sales emails

  • The end result: In just 2 months from launch she grossed over $50K in revenue.

  • Did we hit the goal? Yes and then some — over 60 people bought the 12 Micro-Course Package.
